IPF Webinar : Grant Award Winners

In 2023, the IPF Research Programme launched its second grants scheme to provide financial assistance to promote real estate investment research. This webinar showcases the research findings from three of the award winners.
Organisations are paying closer attention to social impact and Tim Francis, TPF Consulting Limited, will provide a summary of his investigation into its measurement within the real estate industry, highlighting progress so far, barriers to further progress and considerations to ensure a deeper understanding and adoption in the future.
Neil Webster and Elijah Lewis from Remit Consulting will explore the key reasons why real estate investors should be paying particular attention to Scope 3 emissions, both now and in the future. They will demonstrate how investors can influence the reduction in carbon emissions through decarbonising deliveries to tenants in their office buildings, as well as providing insights and strategies to reduce Scope 3 emissions.
Finally, Daniel McKegney from Heitman Investment Research will highlight his detailed research examining the historical composition of real estate investment returns and factors influencing performance during the past 25 years. He also touches on market dynamics and emerging trends that are less well-covered in existing literature but appear to be significant for property returns.
