CBRE recently unveiled its refurbished headquarters at Henrietta House, London W1 following an extensive redevelopment programme. Working with Morey Smith, CBRE developed plans to build over the existing Debenham’s goods yard to the rear of the existing Henrietta House to create a major new 40,500 sq ft architectural designed extension creating total area of 144,500 sq ft over 10 floors to accommodate in excess of 2,100 employees with spaces for 2,240.
Planning permission was achieved in early 2019. Works commenced in Q1 ’19 with Practical Completion in November 2021.
The human centric design approach focuses on establishing a greater sense of employee community and collaboration while prioritising wellbeing and sustainability that enables everyone to thrive mentally and physically.
New amenities include cycling facilities, wellness studios, a family room, new larger café area, a high-quality client lounge, dynamic pitching suite, talent training space, innovation lab, library and outside terraces on first and seventh floors.
